Druk Path Trek

On this faculous cultural tour with a short six days trek you will travel from Paro to Thimphu or vice versa, crossing the chain of mountains that separate the two valleys. Although the route is sparsely inhabited, there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is famous for its spectacular rhododendron forests, which bloom in May. In the clear weather of late autumn and winter there are great views of the Himalayas.

Itinerary in Detail :

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu
Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing
Day 03 : Fly to Paro and transfer to hotel
Day 04 : After breakfast drive to Thimphu
Day 05 : Full day sightseeing in Thimphu
Day 06 : After breakfast drive to Wangdue Phodrang (3 hrs drive)
Day 07 : Drive back to Thimphu
Day 08 : Trek to Phajoding (4-5 hrs)
Day 09 : Trek to Simkota Tsho (5-6 hrs)
Day 10 : Trek to Jimilang Tsho ( 5 hrs)
Day 11 : Trek to Jangchu Lakha (5 hrs)
Day 12 : Trek to Jili Dzong (4-5 hrs)
Day 13 : Trek ends & drive to Paro (4 hrs).
Day 14 : Final Departure.
