Annapurna Round Trek

Annapurna Round Trek Departure Date: 26/03/2012- 09/04/2012

Annapurna Round trek is one of the greatest classic treks taking trekkers through a huge variety of landscapes from lush green paddy fields, sub-tropical rainforest, deep valleys, and wooded alpine slopes to an arid semi-desert similar to Tibet and the deepest gorge in the world. The climax of the trek is the Thorong La Pass (5416 m). The route starts from Beshisahar and ascends to Thorong La following the River Marshyangdi. Descending to the west we enter the barren Tibetan like valley of the Kali Gandaki. This is the world's deepest gorge and passes between the giant mountains of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Varied ecosystems, diverse cultures and an ever-changing landscape make this one of the most popular treks in the world.
