Eastern Nepal Trek
Trekking goals in eastern Nepal includes an eastern approach to Everest, the remote base camp of Makalu, and the area near Kanchenjunga. There is endless variety in this part of country. Most ethnic groups are represented and many rural destinations such as Dhankutta, Khandbari and Bhojpur are large and prosperous and clean. This region was opened for trekkers in 1988 however it is still underdeveloped and trekkers must be fully self-sufficient. A 22 to 26 day trek takes you through the thick forests of rhododendron in the tropical lowlands and yak grazing pastures at high altitudes, surrounded by peaks of Kanchenjunga, Kambachen, Yalung Kang & Jannu (Mystery Peak) Himals. Flying to short take-off and landing airstrip at Tumlingtar or Taplejung can shorten the time, but increases the expenses.
Arun Valley Trek
The Makalu - Arun valley region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Arun valley trek begins between two highest mountains -Mt. Everest and Makalu. It is really a non- tourist area but you can see significant views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, and hundred of others mountains just before yours eyes.
Makalu Base Camp Trek
Makalu Base Camp trek is a challenging trek in a very remote area of Nepal. It is certainly an outstanding trek to the base camp of the world's fifth highest mountain. You fly to Tumlingtar and walk up the lush and beautiful Arun valley before crossing the Shipton La
Kanchanjunga Base Camp Trek
Nepal opened the Kanchenjunga area to trekkers in 1988, although people had trekked in the area in connection with mountaineering expedition. It is long way from Kathmandu and the nearest road or airstrip is the mountain airport. It is on the boarder of Nepal and Indian state of Sikkim. Crossing the Lapsang La or Mirgin La is physically challenging
Kanchenjunga South Base Camp trek
Mount Kanchenjunga (8586 m.) is the third highest mountain in the world and the second highest peak in Nepal. It is located in the extreme northeast corner of Nepal bordering Sikkim (an Indian State) to the east and China to the north.
