Panch Pokhari Trek

Panch Pokhari Trek

Panch Pokhari means the group of five holy ponds / lakes. This is just northeast of Kathmandu toward snow wall. The beautiful Himalayan view with distinct culture is the most attraction of this trekking. During the rest of our 12 days trip, you will observe the different ways of life, culture and come in contact with the people in the small village, passing through the dense forestations and meadows. The top of Panch Pokhari (5 lakes) offers an excellent view of Jugal Himal, Rolwaling Himalayan range and Goshaikunda
On this trek you see Buddhist monasteries, pass through Tamang and Sherpa villages to reach the sacred site of the five glacial lakes of Panch Pokhari at 4100 meters. This is a remote and unfrequented region despite the excellent views of the eastern Himalayan chain known as Jugal Himal which include the peaks of Dorje Lakpa and Phurbi Ghychu and its proximity to Kathmandu.
