Karnali River Rafting

 The Karnali river is Nepal's largest river. Rafting in this river in the far-west of Nepal gives you an opportunity to explore remote villages and culture, magnificent views of the Himalayas and the unspoilt forests of Nepal. The trip starts in Sauli and ends at Chisapani. This trip gives you an opportunity to go to Royal Bardia National Park for wildlife safari since Chisapani is near to the park.

Itinerary in Detail

Trip itinerary

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Surkhet.
Day 02 : Drive from Surkhet to the put-in point, Sauli via local villages and splendid scenery. Start rafting.
Day 03 : After breakfast, raft through some continuous rapids.
Day 04 : After breakfast, begin rafting. Today we enter the jungle where the river narrows and forms more like a gorge. Day 5: Rafting today will be similar to previous days.
Day 06 : Today is yet another day of great action and breath taking scenery.
Day 7 -8 : The rapids slowly start dying off as we come out of the gorge and come to where the river merges with the Seti River and broadens.
Day 09 : Early afternoon, we end our river trip and lunch at Chisapani Bridge. Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 10 : Departure.
