The Last Resort; established in 1999, is the only service provider for bungee jumping in Nepal. The breathtaking experience of this Bungee jump is one of the most exciting activities and can be done in a day trip from Kathmandu (3 hours drive). This adventure includes a free fall from the 160 meters (520 feet) high suspension bridge over the rapidly flowing river Bhote Koshi. This river is also one of the best destinations for rafting. The bungee jump is one of the highest in the world. The Swiss designed bridge with 4* safety factors will support a weight of 4.5 tones of weight and is the longest in Nepal with over 6000meters (20000 feet) of steel wire used in its construction.
There are two jump options offered at Last Resort. One is the regular 'head first' bungee jump which is done on rubber rope and provides about 2 to 2.5 seconds of free fall. The second is called swing, which is 'legs first' and secures about six seconds of free fall at a speed about 150km/h, and you end up swinging like a pendulum. Your jump will be filmed and you can then by the DVD as a souvenir.Make Inquiry for This Trip
