Nepal is a small country in the Himalayas lying between India on Southern, Eastern and Western part and the Tibetan autonomous region of the people’s republic of China on the Northern side. Nepal covers an area of 147181 sq. km and is the is the 93rd largest country in the world by area.
Locked away in the Himalayan fortress, Tibet Autonomous Region lies on the southwest of China and in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is bounded to the north by Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province, to the east by Sichuan Province, to the southeast by Yunnan Province, to the south and west by these countries:
