Our Everest Base Camp Heli Tour starts in Kathmandu, flying east to Everest Base Camp towards the beautiful Sherpa Sir Edmund Hillary airstrip and gateway to Everest, Lukla. After refueling in Lukla, we take off on a thrilling flight on our way towards Everest Base Camp / Kalapathar. We fly over lush valleys and deep gorges past Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep and the Khumbu glacier to reach Base camp.
Everest Base Camp Heli Tour reward with some of the best mountain views to be had anywhere in the world. There is a maximum of 5 minutes of landing time at Everest Base Camp with Kalapatther Landing due to the altitude threat. On the way back, we take 20 minutes at Syangboche (Hotel Everest view) for tea / coffee or a light breakfast to admire the exceptional views of Everest and its ranges. We then fly back to Lukla for another refueling stop before returning to Kathmandu where you will be transferred to your hotel.
N.B. There are weight restrictions on all our Helicopter Flights for obvious reasons, in general work on a maximum of four paying guests to Everest Base Camp. If you are alone or a couple, it is often possible to book you on unused flight seats. Just find a suitable date for your trip, and contact us.
Also, please note helicopter flights can be cancelled in last minute in case of any suddden changes in climate or other natural calamities.
