This tour was a perfect mix of culture, spirituality, and adventure. Driving across the high plateau toward Mount Everest Base Camp was simply unforgettable. Seeing Mount Everest from the Tibetan side felt very special and less crowded.
The monasteries, especially Sera Monastery, gave us deep insight into Tibetan Buddhist life. Everything was safe and well-paced. Himalaya Heart Treks truly knows how to organize Tibet trips professionally.

Our 8-day Tibet Overland Tour with Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition was beyond expectations. From the moment we crossed the border into Tibet, everything was perfectly organized. The drive to Lhasa was scenic and comfortable, with breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
Visiting the majestic Potala Palace was a lifelong dream, and our guide explained Tibetan history and Buddhism in such a passionate way. The highlight for me was standing beside the holy Yamdrok Lake — the turquoise water was unreal.
Himalaya Heart and his team handled permits, transport, and accommodations smoothly. Highly recommended!

We chose to do the Manaslu Circuit/Larkya La Pass trek which we customised to take 12 days with one rest day and a travel day at the start and end of the trek.
On arrival into Kathmandu we were greeted by Krishna who was friendly, welcoming and most importantly able to assist us in getting to our hotel.
While on the trek we had a guide called Hari. He has been in the business for over 20 years and therefore has a wealth of experience in both hiking, altitude, Nepali knowledge and tea house experience. He ensured throughout the trek that we had up to date advice on what to eat, what pace to walk to prevent altitude sickness as well as companionship and laughter.
The food from the tea houses was nothing short of excellent! Varied and tasty, served quickly and always with such politeness!
Our porter was called Kapil. He was incredibly hard working, efficient and tried very hard to get involved in speaking English. He would always greet us with a smile and was ever ready to take on the challenge of the next day. Hari our guide was always ensuring that Kapil was happy and comfortable, which for us was really sweet and showed a real team effort within the company itself.
I would recommend this trekking company and especially Hari as a guide due to the positive experience we had. I will definitely be spreading this through work of mouth to friends and family back home!

I had a great trek on Annapurna with Bolram, my guide. From the beginning, the support from the staff at "Himaliaya Heart Treks" was great. I didn't have to worry about anything. Even suggestions and ideas were taken into account. Among other things, we skipped a stage at the end so that we had an extra day in Pokhara. I was a little skeptical about booking directly with an agency in Nepal instead of through a tour operator in Germany. But the support was professional in every respect and I felt well looked after in all matters.
Nepal is definitely worth a trip. The nature and the people there are simply incredible. I had a great trek and will definitely come back.

We are a family from Zurich/Switzerland with two sons (9 and 12 years old). In April 2024 we visited Kathmandu and from there we travelled to Pokhara and trekked to Poon Hill. Shital was our guide. We have travelled a lot and all over the world, from South America to the Middle East and Oceania. We have never had such a warm, helpful, competent and thoughtful guide as Shital. He organised everything perfectly, immediately provided alternatives in the event of problems (cancelled flights due to forest fires) and also helped us in all other situations (with the children: nausea during the trip, etc.).
Therefore: If you come to Nepal, book Shital Dharel. He is the best!
