Hari, a great guide and now a good friend after over two weeks on the trail, guided my girlfriend and me on an unforgettable Langtang Valley Trek. The journey through lush forests, peaceful Tamang villages, and the wide-open valley leading to Kyanjin Gompa was absolutely incredible. We trekked in December, so there were very few hikers, and it felt like we had the entire Langtang region to ourselves. The weather was cold, but completely manageable if you’re used to winter trekking.
Hari is an excellent guide who truly enriches your experience in the mountains. He helped us customize our Langtang Valley itinerary with ideas and hidden gems we would never have known about on our own. On the trail he was our guide, our waiter in the tea houses, our trip planner, and a trustworthy friend. We joined the Nepal Exploration Tour in October 2025 as a group of friends. Although we had plenty of experience with moderate to hard walks in Europe and Australia, this was our first time exploring Nepal in such depth, and the journey turned out to be far more meaningful than we ever expected.
Our trip began with an unseasonable monsoon outbreak, which caused delays and required significant adjustments to the itinerary. Despite this, the team handled everything smoothly and ensured we were always safe, comfortable, and well informed. Once the weather cleared, we continued our exploration—visiting cultural landmarks, scenic hill towns, local villages, and some truly breathtaking viewpoints.
Along the way, we absolutely loved the landscapes, the gentle walking trails, the welcoming people, and the rich cultural experiences that make Nepal so unique. Every day brought a new discovery—heritage sites, temples, traditional markets, mountain panoramas, and warm interactions with locals.
Midway through the journey, one of our group members unfortunately became ill due to a combination of altitude exposure in the higher regions and a chest infection. The guides arranged immediate assistance and evacuation with remarkable calmness and professionalism, ensuring their safety without disrupting the rest of the group.
The rest of our friends continued the tour and enjoyed the remaining scenic highlights and cultural experiences, returning with lifelong memories.
Despite the challenges of weather and illness, the tour was overall fantastic. What truly stood out was how the guiding team managed the unexpected. In travel—especially in Nepal—the real measure of a company is how they respond to adversity, and Raj and Hari who organaize this tour were extraordinary. Their care, leadership, and attention to detail made us feel safe and supported at all times.
We all agreed that if we could face another adventure together, we would happily return to Nepal with the same guiding team.

I completed the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with my 2 friends, and our experience with Himalaya Heart Treks was truly amazing. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, making the whole journey smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable.
