Hello, the trek to Everest Base Camp with Himalaya Heart it was a great experience. Despite facing many challenges, such as the flight to Lukla, the weather, and overcrowded hotels along the way, the company's team (the manager, guide, and porters) were attentive and proactive, anticipating and addressing any problems with timely solutions. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, we were under the constant care of the guide and the company manager. The guide (Hari ) was excellent, exceeding all our expectations with his charisma, knowledge, and attentiveness. We laughed a lot throughout the trek. The porters are incredibly strong, and I was truly impressed by their work; it's admirable, and I'm very grateful for their effort. All my respect to them. The experience was very personalized and met our expectations. I hope to see you again soon.

I recently completed the Everest View Trek and can wholeheartedly say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The trek itself offered some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever witnessed – breathtaking mountain vistas, charming villages and awe-inspiring landscapes around every turn.
The guides , Hari and porter Lokendra were not only knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely friendly and attentive. They made sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the journey. A special mention must go to the awesome women porters on our trek. Their strength, kindness and warmth were truly inspiring
We were provided with delicious and substantial meals that kept us energised for each leg of the trek

I went on the Manaslu Circuit trek with some friends in April. Our guide was Rajendra and Vishnu was our porter. We had a wonderful trip with great guidance from Raj, sharing his knowledge of the mountains along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Raj, Vishnu, and Himalaya Heart to people considering a trek in Nepal.

We had an incredible trip thanks to Hari. Due to safety concerns from landslides, Hari adapted our hike quickly and effectively with clear communication throughout whilst also consulting us on our interests. We went on the Poon Hill trek over 5 days.
Hari’s hospitality was impeccable and genuine - always thinking of ways to go above and beyond, provide a great experience. He ensured we had great views, stories and history about the mountains and villages. He’s also built great relationships with guest houses, tea houses and hotels and knows lots of people around and has inside knowledge - local millet / rice wine , delicious Dal bhat, nice restaurants and hotels on either end of the hike in Kathmandu and Pokhara. I would definitely recommend Hari and Himalaya Heart Treks. All round 10/10 trip. Thanks and looking forward to going on another with Hari to Mustang !

Me and friend went on a 7 days kathmandu pokhara chitwan tours
Hari was an absolute gem! He took us to some of the most secluded spots with stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. And let me tell you, the sunrise we witnessed was absolutely magical!
Hari's knowledge of the area was impressive, and he knew all the hidden gems that offered the best views. He made sure we had plenty of time to soak in the beauty and take amazing photos. Plus, his enthusiasm for nature and the mountains was contagious!
He made sure all the guesthouse we stayed in were warm for the cold cold nights and had a hot shower and wasn’t too crowded from other tourists .
I can't recommend Hari enough as a guide. He made our trek through the foothills an unforgettable experience, and I'm so grateful for the memories we created together. If you're looking for a guide who will take you to secluded spots and show you the most beautiful views, Hari is the one

We were so happy to have these folks help us with our trip planning while we were in Nepal.One day we did a Kathmandu Valley tour and our driver was wonderful and very patient. Then we did a two day tour of Nagarkot. It was beautiful. Our guide was Durga and he was excellent. I highly recommend him. He was helpful, had great things to say and has 10 years of experience in the industry. Request him! We had a good time on the trip.
Himalaya Heart also booked our bus tickets for us, round trip from Kathmandu to Pohkara. We had heard that this would be a long & uncomfortable experience from travel blogs...but definitely not the case! They booked our tickets with a wonderful bus company. The bus had AC and we got lunch included each way if the tour. We were pleasantly surprised.

We booked our trip with Himalayan Heart treks a few weeks before our travel dates and definitely found the perfect company for us! We wanted to find a company that would meet all our needs and requirements and they were extremely helpful from the very first email we sent. Everything was included in the package, from our airport pickup to the moment we left Nepal. Our hotels, lodges and meals were all managed and booked for us so we were delighted not to have to worry about this once on our trip. Thakur helped to clarify anything we needed to know before leaving our home country and the programme and itinerary was arranged to suit our individual needs, something which is very important for different groups of different ages and abilities.
Our guide Hari, was the reason we had such a successful, enjoyable and memorable trip. He is not only an excellent guide, but a wonderful, helpful and caring person with a huge heart and a great sense of humour too! We warmed to him straight away, on our arrival into Kathmandu airport- where he greeted us with traditional flower necklaces. He was at our service for anything we needed or wanted to see/do and arranged everything for us without any problems.
On our trek, Hari was attentive to our every need. Safety is his number one priority and this had us at ease along the trek. He is very experienced in trekking and in the Khumbu region itself and it was comforting knowing we had someone so professional looking after us every step of the way. We trusted him entirely with all of his recommendations and any concerns we had. Each day he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best start possible and that our day ran smoothly. He knew when and where to be at the right time for the perfect views of the beautiful scenery and ensured we used every opportunity the weather offered to get out and take it all in. While trekking, we not only learned about the mountains and the routes, but the histories and the cultures of life in Nepal. We would not have had this experience had we gone alone and we have had experiences before where other guides have not been this well versed with the information that they provide. Hari answered each and all of the (many) questions we had and never got tired of answering sometimes the same questions on another day! We count ourselves very lucky to have been blessed with our amazing guide Hari and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable and fun trek in the beautiful Himalayas.

From the very beginning Himalayan Heart were great to deal with. Shitan (Manager), Rajendra (Guide) and the team provided my partner and I with an unforgettable experience trekking the Manaslu Circuit in April this year. On arriving in Kathmandu, we had actually already set our sites on walking Annapurna Circuit, but Shitan and the team were very helpful in designing an itinerary that better suited our needs, trekking ability/experience level and budget (their quote stacked up quite well versus the competition).
Both Rajendra and Ishor (Porter) were from the region where the Manaslu Circuit commenced, so they had great local knowledge - this ultimately came in handy when our bus couldn’t get to the starting line due to heavy rains and Rajendra helped us to walk in whilst avoiding some of the roads. Raj was very knowledgeable, calm and thoughtful - such a nice guide and friend to spend 17 days with! We really enjoyed sitting down to play cards with our little team each night. We would happily recommend Himalayan Heart and Raj as your guide for any trek across Nepal.

My partner Sid and I have just returned from a two week trek to Gokyo lakes with the ever-sought-after Hari as our guide. I've not been able to return to Nepal for over ten years because of life's ups and downs, but this was Sid's 50th birthday present to me and it couldn't have been a better way to celebrate my 50th year. It was wonderful to see Hari again and he looked after us so very well, as always. Trekking is not as easy as it was when I was younger, but Hari never pushed us, and actually we ended up doing pretty well. We got to the lakes and trekked up to 5,000 metres, so we were enormously happy with that. Hari made sure we drank enough, we ate well, we had comfortable bedrooms (and ensuite toilets where possible - important for men of a certain age!). We really enjoyed each other's company and at all times felt safe, supported and well informed. We had a few logistical problems because of the weather - so getting to and from Lukla was a nightmare, but Hari remained calm and determined and got us good deals on a heli to get there and a convoluted journey to Ramechhap airport followed by a 5 hour bus journey to Kathmandu - just so we wouldn't miss our international flight the next day. Hari knows his stuff and is well networked. He is also incredibly affable and never rubs people up the wrong way, so is great at getting good deals.
We didn't see any snow leopards or red panda, for which we told Hari we would remove a star from his rating :-) but he did point out a beautiful musk deer only feet away from us, lots of Himalayan Blue Tar and various birds.
Our porter, Lukendra (sp?) was courteous, hard working and friendly and we were hugely impressed with his stamina (as we always are of porters in the Himalayas). He frequently joins Hari on treks in the Sagarmatha region and we would recommend him.
I also still fundamentally believe, that despite the extra expense, hiring a guide when trekking in Nepal is an essential part of your holiday. Not only does it put vital money into the economy but it adds huge cultural depth to your experience, and you make a life-long friend. This was my fifth trip to Nepal and I will be going back again at some point. Guaranteed I will be going with Himalaya Heart Treks & Expeditions again.
As a separate point, if any of you are thinking of trekking in Nepal, be aware that the treks from Lukla to EBC or Gokyo are incredibly busy these days. You will find bottlenecks at bridges, busy lodges and lots of pack animals. It is not the peaceful experience it used to be. So be prepared for that. Also, the erosion on the paths is horrific now, so it is very dusty. Wear something over your nose and mouth, like a bandana or a buff (you can buy these everywhere in Nepal now). Lots of people were getting very bad coughs and chest infections and you really don't want that on the way up the mountains. We got pretty sick on the way down (thankfully not at altitude) and have had chest infections now for weeks, even back at home. So take your antibiotics with you and be prepared for a bit of an assault on your immune system.
That said it was all worth it. The mountains are as stunning as you could ever imagine, Gokyo lakes were breathtaking, the Nepali people are the kindest, friendliest people you could wish to meet, and they rely on tourism to keep their economy afloat - so please do go!! And when you do, go with Himalaya Heart, because they care for you like you are family. Thanks again Hari for an amazing time. See you again soon!!

My 3 sisters had a great experience with Arjun as our guide. Our original plan was to go up gokyo + EBC, unfortunately one of the tour members fell sick, however, Arjun came up with a plan to keep everyone happy and we were able to make it to EBC and back down safely. Arjun was tentative to all our needs during the trip and always made sure to get us extra blankets when possible! He was very knowledgeable about the route and felt like we learned a lot and always felt safe. The hike was tough but so worth it! Thanks again for everything.

We could not have asked for a better trek and guide in Hari. The trek itself was filled with stunning views and scenery. And though weather on occasion made it a little more challenging it made it feel like such an achievement reaching base camp. Hari could not have been more attentive, knowledgeable and patient. I enjoyed the kathmandu pokhara chitwan Tour with the company Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition Ltd. The Cultural heritage tour in Kathmandu was very interesting. The guide in Kathmandu explained very well the history, culture and history of the Kathmandu valley. I really enjoyed the Jungle Safari, the canoe ride, the jungle walk and the visit to the Elephant Breeding and Training Centre. Hari was my guide for Pokhara and Bandipur. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and kind. Hari paced the tour accordingly to my ability. He made sure that I would see everything in the itinerary and more. One of the highlights for me was watching the sunrise in Sarangkot and the views of mountain peaks in the Annapurna region. Hari named all the mountain peaks. I would highly recommend Hari as a tour guide. He explained the history, culture and other interesting fact of everything we have visited.

Just finished my 8-day Langtang Valley Trek and what a trip it has been! I had the most amazing time, thanks to my amazing guide Hari. I truly felt taking care of every second of my trip. Not only did I feel safe but my guide supported me along the entire journey and had answers to all my questions. Coming to Nepal for the first time and choosing Himalaya Heart Trek Expedition for Langtang Valley Trek was an excellent choice. The whole trip was perfectly organised from Hari Timalsina, starting with pre-information and pickup-service from the airport, to kathmandu city tour with professional guide and private car, fantastic and quiet hotel in thamel, to the breathtaking trek in langtang valley with experienced guide Krishna. Shital organised and led our 3-generations family group of six (aged from 7 to 74!) on the Poon Hill trek. His attention to every planning detail was meticulous. His personal service was outstanding: he met us at the airport on our arrival in Nepal, and he saw us off at the end of our subsequent stay in Kathmandu; and he arranged everything in between. Myself and my fiancee had an amazing time on our trek with our guide Ram Timalsina and porter Narayan Neupane. We had originally planned to do an 8 day hike to ABC however it would have been quite rushed so we decided to alter our route to end off at Poon Hill. Ram was fantastic in helping us make these changes and made our experience very enjoyable. Accommodations on the mountain and food through the trek was fantastic and the trek was extremely well organized. I would highly recommend Himalaya Heart Treks for those considering coming to Nepal and doing some hiking!

Reflecting upon a wonderful time in Nepal with my two adult sons. A nine day trek from Kathmandu to Pokhara and into the Annapurna region with highlights all the way, topped by sunrise on Poon Hill and a final day stroll with the snow capped peaks as a backdrop. Of course, weather is uncontrollable so we had a couple of days walking trails through forests and climbing slopes with mist above without the peaks for company, but always local nature, farm and village life to observe.
Throughout this adventure we were accompanied by our experienced and affable guide Hari from Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition. Hari made sure our day to day trekking, meals, accommodation and activities were everything, and more, of what we hoped for. Keeping spirits up when the occasional difficult moments arose, as they will on such a venture, Hari was always telling you what you needed to hear at any moment - his timing impeccable. This Hari achieved not only by his attention to detail for every element of the trek, but also with an understanding of individual differences between everyone in the group, and responding accordingly.
Hari was also flexible organising a small mid-trek deviation in plans, and assisting us with the other sightseeing activities before and after the arranged trek. As a father in my mid-60s (and of average fitness) wanting a once in a lifetime experience with sons in their 20s and 30s I couldn’t have asked for more, and I have no hesitation recommending Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition and Hari as a guide, if you are seeking a similarly extraordinary experience

He is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and kind. Hari paced the tour accordingly to my ability. He made sure that I would see everything in the itinerary and more. One of the highlights for me was watching the sunrise in Sarangkot and the views of mountain peaks in the Annapurna region. Hari named all the mountain peaks. I would highly recommend Hari as a tour guide. He explained the history, culture and other interesting fact of everything we have visited.

We chose to do the Manaslu Circuit/Larkya La Pass trek which we customised to take 12 days with one rest day and a travel day at the start and end of the trek.
On arrival into Kathmandu we were greeted by Krishna who was friendly, welcoming and most importantly able to assist us in getting to our hotel.
While on the trek we had a guide called Hari. He has been in the business for over 20 years and therefore has a wealth of experience in both hiking, altitude, Nepali knowledge and tea house experience. He ensured throughout the trek that we had up to date advice on what to eat, what pace to walk to prevent altitude sickness as well as companionship and laughter.
The food from the tea houses was nothing short of excellent! Varied and tasty, served quickly and always with such politeness!
Our porter was called Kapil. He was incredibly hard working, efficient and tried very hard to get involved in speaking English. He would always greet us with a smile and was ever ready to take on the challenge of the next day. Hari our guide was always ensuring that Kapil was happy and comfortable, which for us was really sweet and showed a real team effort within the company itself.
I would recommend this trekking company and especially Hari as a guide due to the positive experience we had. I will definitely be spreading this through work of mouth to friends and family back home!
