We chose to do the Manaslu Circuit/Larkya La Pass trek which we customised to take 12 days with one rest day and a travel day at the start and end of the trek.
On arrival into Kathmandu we were greeted by our Guide He was friendly, welcoming and most importantly able to assist us in getting to our hotel.
While on the trek we had a guide called Hari. He has been in the business for over 20 years and therefore has a wealth of experience in both hiking, altitude, Nepali knowledge and tea house experience. He ensured throughout the trek that we had up to date advice on what to eat, what pace to walk to prevent altitude sickness as well as companionship and laughter.
The food from the tea houses was nothing short of excellent! Varied and tasty, served quickly and always with such politeness!
Our porter was incredibly hard working, efficient and tried very hard to get involved in speaking English. He would always greet us with a smile and was ever ready to take on the challenge of the next day. Hari our guide was always ensuring that porter was happy and comfortable, which for us was really sweet and showed a real team effort within the company itself.
I would recommend this trekking company and especially Hari as a guide due to the positive experience we had. I will definitely be spreading this through word of mouth to friends and family back home!

We completed the Manaslu circuit trek with our amazing guide Hari and porter Kapil. I believe it was down to his knowledge of the mountains and the care and attention he gave us that we where able to complete the trek.
Nothing was ever too much to ask and he provided information and guidance whenever we needed. I would highly recommend Hari as a guide and Himalaya Heart.
Kapil our porter was very friendly and helpful, he took the time to get to know us and helped however he could, I would also highly recommend him.

This was my fifth stay in the beloved Himalayas and the first with a guide. I must admit that I had some reservations about this. As it turned out, it was completely unfounded. Already on the first day of trekking around Manaslu, Hari turned out to be a man perfectly suited to his job. The following days made me realize what a great guide he is. And it's not about proper professional preparation, but about the passion with which he performs his duties. A passion that he infects others. Only in a positive way 😊 Over twenty years of professional experience plus individual character traits create such a fantastic mix that being with Hari is pure pleasure. Sense of humor. Great contact. Customer approach. Full control over everything important. Care. I really felt safe with Hari. Even something as important in the high mountains as acclimatization was organized almost encyclopedically. I am very impressed with Hari's knowledge and experience. And privately. Privately, I can say that I love meeting good people in my life. And still with passion. And Hari is one of these people. Man. Guide. My friend 😊 I really hope that this will not be our last meeting. On the other hand, I envy anyone who decides to use Hari's services. You are looking for a professional. You've already found it. I sincerely recommend it 😊

Excellent trip from before arriving to the last day. Fast and reliable communication from Thakur while booking the trek. My guide Hari provided outstanding service from picking me up at the airport, through the3 day Hike around kathmandu, to my departure. I would definitely recommend Himalaya Heart. Communication before the trek was excellent and all the arrangements worked well and efficiently. A good and informative guide in Hira, he really added to the overall experience: a fabulous 5 day trek staying in lodges in small villages. Trekking is spectacular in places and never less than inspiring. Rhododendron forest, rivers and waterfalls, buffalo working in the terraced fields, grey langur monkeys in the trees, and then the breathtaking Machhapuchhre appearing through a gap in the vegetation.
The trek was hard at times, up and up stone steps, but then worth every tread as you gaze at the scenery and the mountains. Sunrise at Poon Hill, a clear dawn in Tadopani and arrival in Ghandruk with the Annapurna range in full view was as near to paradise as you can get!
A wholehearted recommendation of Himalaya Heart. Many thanks Thakur, Shital and all the team, we will certainly be back again.

We did the Everest Base Camp trek with Himalaya Heart, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! We had the honor of the first trek with them since COVID hit, and the disruption didn’t seem to have knocked them off their stride at all.
Our guide Hari picked us up personally at the airport, and he was a consummate pro. We couldn’t have asked for better in a guide: Hari was knowledgeable, courteous, spoke great English, and was always one step ahead (literally and figuratively) in anticipating what we would need and when we would need it. More than that, he was just a great all-around guy, and by the end of the trip we could honestly say we considered him not just a guide, but also a friend.
On the logistics side, Himalaya Heart was up front with all the info we needed, and they were very responsive to our questions via email and WhatsApp. The price they quoted never changed, and they were very clear about what was and was not included in our trek package. They even facilitated our COVID tests for our return travel so we didn’t have to worry about how we would get that done. Thakur and Shital were honest brokers who obviously cared about our experience, and they went out of their way to ensure we were completely satisfied.
I highly recommend Himalaya Heart for trekking in Nepal, particularly if you are looking to support a reasonably-priced, local company. These guys handle their business like pros, and I would use them again with no hesitation.

Reflecting upon a wonderful time in Nepal with my two adult sons. A nine day trek from Kathmandu to Pokhara and into the Annapurna region with highlights all the way, topped by sunrise on Poon Hill and a final day stroll with the snow capped peaks as a backdrop. Of course, weather is uncontrollable so we had a couple of days walking trails through forests and climbing slopes with mist above without the peaks for company, but always local nature, farm and village life to observe.
Throughout this adventure we were accompanied by our experienced and affable guide Hari from Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition. Hari made sure our day to day trekking, meals, accommodation and activities were everything, and more, of what we hoped for. Keeping spirits up when the occasional difficult moments arose, as they will on such a venture, Hari was always telling you what you needed to hear at any moment - his timing impeccable. This Hari achieved not only by his attention to detail for every element of the trek, but also with an understanding of individual differences between everyone in the group, and responding accordingly.
Hari was also flexible organising a small mid-trek deviation in plans, and assisting us with the other sightseeing activities before and after the arranged trek. As a father in my mid-60s (and of average fitness) wanting a once in a lifetime experience with sons in their 20s and 30s I couldn’t have asked for more, and I have no hesitation recommending Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition and Hari as a guide, if you are seeking a similarly extraordinary experience.

Coming to Nepal for the first time and choosing Himalaya Heart Trek Expedition for Langtang Valley Trek was an excellent choice. The whole trip was perfectly organised from Hari Timalsina, starting with pre-information and pickup-service from the airport, to kathmandu city tour with professional guide and private car, fantastic and quiet hotel in thamel, to the breathtaking trek in langtang valley with experienced guide Krishna. We were traveling in Kathmandu, Nagarkot and Bakthapur in April. Our guide was Hari (Yan Pd. Timalsina). The trip was perfectly organized. Starting from picking us up from the airport to bringing us back to the airport. Hari was always there for us, very attentive, always on time and extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very well taken care of by him.

My friend and I did the Annapurna Trekking in May 2018 with this organization and it was really wonderful! From the beginning, they took care of everything very well. Everything was explained to us very well and we could always contact them. During the trekking, our guide Shital and porter Hari. We had a really good time with them. My mother and I just got home from a 2-week trip to hike the Everest Base Camp track.
We were guided by Hari, who came strongly recommended via multiple reviews online and was just as fabulous in person.
From touching down in Kathmandu, the team at Himalaya Heart were waiting for us with Marigold flowers to show us some true Nepalese culture.
Our first day we were taken around Thamel, to ensure we had all the equipment required. We did bring most things as described on the packing list given to us before departure however it was handy to go around with our guide to make sure we had the final things before we departed.
From the morning we left out hotel, our guide Hari, constantly made sure we were comfortable and well informed on what was going on ahead of us. We were fortunate because they managed to organise us a helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla, ensuring we had a safe and easy trip up the hill.
Each night our accommodation provided to us along the trek was fabulous, with Hari continuously ensuring we have the best options provided to us.
Upon mealtime, he would also check with the chef's at each hotel to see what produce was the freshest to ensure we were always eating quality and healthy food.
Over the course of the next 8 days, we trekked from Lukla to EBC while maintaining a solid pace and feeling very strong. The guidance provided to us from our guide Hari definitely helped us achieve our goals of reaching base camp.
If you are contemplating booking with Himilaya Heart Treks, I would strongly consider you do because my mother and I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

So pleased to have found Himalaya Heart and based on feedback on sites like this chose them for our trek. We could not have been better looked after from start to finish, proved to be such a good decision to use this local business run by guides rather than one of the big companies. It was just myself and my son and we wanted to go ourselves rather than in a big group. Thakur was responsive and helpful with Emails before the trek which helped us with planning, what kit to bring etc. We were met at the airport by Milan and from that moment Himalaya Heart looked after us perfectly. Our guide Arjun I had already read the great reviews of, and he was fantastic, we had total faith in him and he made the trip run so smoothly. He was our guide, companion, cards and chess opponent, waiter, doctor and always had the next leg planned and teahouse booked. He looked after me when I got sick at Lobuche and altered our plans so that we took a rest day there to recover, and then did Kala Patthar in a day and back from Lobuche meaning we had the summit to ourselves, which was simply magical. Our ever smiling porter Ram (or Super-Ram as we came to describe him), was brilliant also, always beating us to our destination despite carrying both our duffle bags. Amazing respect for these guys. At the end of the trek Hari took us out for dinner in Kathmandu which was a very nice touch. We had some time left so booked a White Water rafting trip through Hari which was perfectly organised too. Milan, who had met us at the airport on our arrival, also took us to the airport when the time came to leave. Never I have had such amazing customer care, and am so happy I chose to support a local growing business run by guides, I wish them all the success they deserve, and when we return we will for sure be booking with them again. My son wants to bring his mates back and do Island Peak, and I may see if I can persuade my wife to come and do the Annapurna Panorama trip (Hari's recommendation). For a first time visitor to Nepal all I can say is I am so pleased that we went, it exceeded all my expectations, and Himalaya Heart made it so easy (well, apart from walking up the big hills, that bit was still hard).

Myself and my fiancee had an amazing time on our trek with our guide Ram Timalsina and porter Narayan Neupane. We had originally planned to do an 8 day hike to ABC however it would have been quite rushed so we decided to alter our route to end off at Poon Hill. Ram was fantastic in helping us make these changes and made our experience very enjoyable. Accommodations on the mountain and food through the trek was fantastic and the trek was extremely well organized. I would highly recommend Himalaya Heart Treks for those considering coming to Nepal and doing some hiking!

I had a really good time on my EBC trek, my guide Arjun was very helpful, as he helped carry some of my things and told me exactly what was needed as we climbed up. He even paid for my lunches and dinner on the road, and I paid him back at the end of each day to make it easier for me. It was a tiring journey and quite cold at night, but I was very lucky with the weather being clear the whole time, so I had an amazing view of Everest. I highly recommend booking with Himalaya Heart Treks & Expeditions as they make everything easy and convenient, such as airport pickups and accommodation in mountains.

(Everest Base Camp) The trek was challenging, however it was very rewarding. The scenes are amazing throughout the entire trek, only getting better each day. We went during off-peak time (early December), so it wasn't as packed as most other times. Above all, our guide, Dripendra, was beyond amazing. He catered to our pace, whether it be faster or slower, educated us about difference sites along the trek, and was very enjoyable to hang around.

This was an excellent trip overall. Fantastic views of landscapes, villages and mountains. Speaking of the team Hari was exceptional - attentive, knowledgeable and always did whatever he could to make our trip pleasant. It was also helpful that he was flexible and always provided options in regards to the trek, activities, where we stayed and how we got there. He was like this not only for the trek but also our stay in Kathmandu / Pokhara before and after it. Nabaraj was also extremely friendly, considerate and did everything with a smile (which is impressive when he is also carrying our bags across the entire trek). Himalaya Heart was a great company to do the EBC and Goyko via Cho La pass trek with. The communication during the planning phase was perfect with Thakur. Hari made us feel welcome and well informed from our arrival to Kathmandu until our departure, including additional day trips as requested. Arjun was our guide during the trek and he made us feel that we were in safe hands throughout the expedition. He monitored our symptoms, HR and SpO2 during ascent and provided itinerary flexibility. Arjun was always there for our questions and to help from breakfast until bedtime each day. I would highly recommend Himalaya Heart for all trips in Nepal and surrounding countries.
