I enjoyed the kathmandu pokhara chitwan Tour with the company Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition Ltd. The Cultural heritage tour in Kathmandu was very interesting. The guide in Kathmandu explained very well the history, culture and history of the Kathmandu valley. I really enjoyed the Jungle Safari, the canoe ride, the jungle walk and the visit to the Elephant Breeding and Training Centre. Hari was my guide for Pokhara and Bandipur. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and kind. Hari paced the tour accordingly to my ability. He made sure that I would see everything in the itinerary and more. One of the highlights for me was watching the sunrise in Sarangkot and the views of mountain peaks in the Annapurna region. Hari named all the mountain peaks. I would highly recommend Hari as a tour guide. He explained the history, culture and other interesting fact of everything we have visited.

Just finished my 8-day Langtang Valley Trek and what a trip it has been! I had the most amazing time, thanks to my amazing guide Hari. I truly felt taking care of every second of my trip. Not only did I feel safe but my guide supported me along the entire journey and had answers to all my questions. Best decision to book this adventure with Himalaya Heart Treks, would have not been the same without them, can only highly recommend! This was my first, but definitely not my last time trekking in Nepal. A heartfelt thank you once again & see you soon!

Coming to Nepal for the first time and choosing Himalaya Heart Trek Expedition for Langtang Valley Trek was an excellent choice. The whole trip was perfectly organised from Hari Timalsina, starting with pre-information and pickup-service from the airport, to kathmandu city tour with professional guide and private car, fantastic and quiet hotel in thamel, to the breathtaking trek in langtang valley with experienced guide Krishna. I really felt safe, comfortable and motivated throughout the trip and will definetely come again to trek with their agency. 5 Stars and more!

As veterans of three Himalayan treks with different operators we can say confidently that Himalaya Heart Treks and Expeditions is simply the best. Shital organised and led our 3-generations family group of six (aged from 7 to 74!) on the Poon Hill trek. His attention to every planning detail was meticulous. His personal service was outstanding: he met us at the airport on our arrival in Nepal, and he saw us off at the end of our subsequent stay in Kathmandu; and he arranged everything in between. He also happens to be a world-class guy with really excellent English: a fantastic ambassador for this wonderful country. We would now use no other trekking company.

Myself and my fiancee had an amazing time on our trek with our guide Ram Timalsina and porter Narayan Neupane. We had originally planned to do an 8 day hike to ABC however it would have been quite rushed so we decided to alter our route to end off at Poon Hill. Ram was fantastic in helping us make these changes and made our experience very enjoyable. Accommodations on the mountain and food through the trek was fantastic and the trek was extremely well organized. I would highly recommend Himalaya Heart Treks for those considering coming to Nepal and doing some hiking!

Reflecting upon a wonderful time in Nepal with my two adult sons. A nine day trek from Kathmandu to Pokhara and into the Annapurna region with highlights all the way, topped by sunrise on Poon Hill and a final day stroll with the snow capped peaks as a backdrop. Of course, weather is uncontrollable so we had a couple of days walking trails through forests and climbing slopes with mist above without the peaks for company, but always local nature, farm and village life to observe.
Throughout this adventure we were accompanied by our experienced and affable guide Hari from Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition. Hari made sure our day to day trekking, meals, accommodation and activities were everything, and more, of what we hoped for. Keeping spirits up when the occasional difficult moments arose, as they will on such a venture, Hari was always telling you what you needed to hear at any moment - his timing impeccable. This Hari achieved not only by his attention to detail for every element of the trek, but also with an understanding of individual differences between everyone in the group, and responding accordingly.
Hari was also flexible organising a small mid-trek deviation in plans, and assisting us with the other sightseeing activities before and after the arranged trek. As a father in my mid-60s (and of average fitness) wanting a once in a lifetime experience with sons in their 20s and 30s I couldn’t have asked for more, and I have no hesitation recommending Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition and Hari as a guide, if you are seeking a similarly extraordinary experience

We chose to do the Manaslu Circuit/Larkya La Pass trek which we customised to take 12 days with one rest day and a travel day at the start and end of the trek.
On arrival into Kathmandu we were greeted by Krishna who was friendly, welcoming and most importantly able to assist us in getting to our hotel.
While on the trek we had a guide called Hari. He has been in the business for over 20 years and therefore has a wealth of experience in both hiking, altitude, Nepali knowledge and tea house experience. He ensured throughout the trek that we had up to date advice on what to eat, what pace to walk to prevent altitude sickness as well as companionship and laughter.
The food from the tea houses was nothing short of excellent! Varied and tasty, served quickly and always with such politeness!
Our porter was called Kapil. He was incredibly hard working, efficient and tried very hard to get involved in speaking English. He would always greet us with a smile and was ever ready to take on the challenge of the next day. Hari our guide was always ensuring that Kapil was happy and comfortable, which for us was really sweet and showed a real team effort within the company itself.
I would recommend this trekking company and especially Hari as a guide due to the positive experience we had. I will definitely be spreading this through work of mouth to friends and family back home!

Hari, a great guide and good friend after over 2 weeks on the trail, guided my girlfriend and I on an epic trip around Annapurna - first the typical 8 day circuit ending with the Throng La pass, then after a rest at Tatopani hot spring, 6 more hiking days from to Dhompas (including Poon Hill). It was incredible! We went in December so there were hardly any other hikers on the trail and we had the mountains all to ourselves. Of course the weather was cold, but not bad if you are used to that sort of thing. Hari is an excellent guide who will enrich your experience in the mountains. He helped us customize our itinerary with suggestions we would never have known about otherwise. He was our guide on the trail, waiter and concierge at the guesthouses, trip planner, and reliable friend. He even took special care to advise us on food safety and check conditions in the kitchens (only possible in the off season). He took care of all our needs and whims. Really above and beyond what we expected from a guide!! Fully recommend him and Himalaya Heart.

Me and friend went on a 6 day trek to Poon Hill .
Hari was an absolute gem! He took us to some of the most secluded spots with stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. And let me tell you, the sunrise we witnessed was absolutely magical!
Hari's knowledge of the area was impressive, and he knew all the hidden gems that offered the best views. He made sure we had plenty of time to soak in the beauty and take amazing photos. Plus, his enthusiasm for nature and the mountains was contagious!
He made sure all the guesthouse we stayed in were warm for the cold cold nights and had a hot shower and wasn’t too crowded from other tourists .
I can't recommend Hari enough as a guide. He made our trek through the foothills an unforgettable experience, and I'm so grateful for the memories we created together. If you're looking for a guide who will take you to secluded spots and show you the most beautiful views, Hari is the one! 🏔️🌅

We have just finished an amazing hike with our guide Thakur and porter Dinnes around the Annapurna range. Everything was so well organised, all we had to do was hike! We are a family from Zurich/Switzerland with two sons (9 and 12 years old). In April 2024 we visited Kathmandu and from there we travelled to Pokhara and trekked to Poon Hill. Shital was our guide. We have travelled a lot and all over the world, from South America to the Middle East and Oceania. We have never had such a warm, helpful, competent and thoughtful guide as Shital. He organised everything perfectly, immediately provided alternatives in the event of problems (cancelled flights due to forest fires) and also helped us in all other situations (with the children: nausea during the trip, etc.).
Therefore: If you come to Nepal, book Shital Dharel. He is the best!

We completed the Manaslu circuit trek with our amazing guide Hari and porter Kapil. I believe it was down to his knowledge of the mountains and the care and attention he gave us that we where able to complete the trek.
Nothing was ever too much to ask and he provided information and guidance whenever we needed. I would highly recommend Hari as a guide and Himalaya Heart.
Kapil our porter was very friendly and helpful, he took the time to get to know us and helped however he could, I would also highly recommend him.

This was my fifth stay in the beloved Himalayas and the first with a guide. I must admit that I had some reservations about this. As it turned out, it was completely unfounded. Already on the first day of trekking around Manaslu, Hari turned out to be a man perfectly suited to his job. The following days made me realize what a great guide he is. And it's not about proper professional preparation, but about the passion with which he performs his duties. A passion that he infects others. Only in a positive way 😊 Over twenty years of professional experience plus individual character traits create such a fantastic mix that being with Hari is pure pleasure. Sense of humor. Great contact. Customer approach. Full control over everything important. Care. I really felt safe with Hari. Even something as important in the high mountains as acclimatization was organized almost encyclopedically. I am very impressed with Hari's knowledge and experience. And privately. Privately, I can say that I love meeting good people in my life. And still with passion. And Hari is one of these people. Man. Guide. My friend 😊 I really hope that this will not be our last meeting. On the other hand, I envy anyone who decides to use Hari's services. You are looking for a professional. You've already found it. I sincerely recommend it 😊

If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in the Himalayas - look no further. We can highly recommend this tour. From the start, we were well taken care off. We exchanged some mails with Thakur before arriving to Kathmandu to organize some extras which worked out well. When we landed late evening in Kathmandu, Thakur himself picked us up from the airport and gave us a super warm welcome. Everything was well organized and the hotel that we stayed in in Kathmandu was super nice! Other than most of the trekkers we met, our flights to Lukla actually left from Kathmandu! What a pleasant surprise. Most other trekkers had to take a bus/jeep to Ramechap (4-5h) to take a flight from there. Leaving from Kathmandu was absolutely convenient. We also were super lucky to get the flight right away so nothing was delayed. But now for the absolute best part - our Trekking guide Kamchha. We had the absolutely perfect guide for our tour, anything you could wish for. Kamchha was attentive, always cared for our best and was able to explain absolutely every detail about all of the mountains we saw. We learned some Nepali words together, had a lot of laughs and enjoyed our time a lot! Kamchha always made sure that we would get the best room available in the lodge, that our food was well prepared and that we are happy. All of that while constantly smiling and having a great time together. If you can take a trek with Kamchha, don't hesitate, you are super lucky! Originally, we had booked the tour as a group tour, however due to the lack of any other participants we ended up basically having a private tour. Everyone went above and beyond to make this trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We would highly recommend taking this tour. The combination of Everest Base Camp (which is nice but quite crowded) with the less frequented Cho La pass and Gokyo was perfect for us. It is definitely a challenging tour but absolutely worth it. Gokyo has a very different vibe to the Khumbu Valley and should be on your bucket list! We absolutely loved it! Plus: The views from Gokyo Ri are far superior to the EBC trek and Kalar Patthar! This has not been our last time in Nepal and we would definitely take a tour with Kamchha and Himalayan hearts again! Thank you Thakur and Kamchha for making this trip unforgettable.

My guide Hari provided outstanding service from picking me up at the airport, through the3 day Hike around kathmandu, to my departure. Hari had my safety in mind. smoothly and as a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe. Every aspect of the trip was organised and planed to perfection. I would definitely recommend Himalaya Heart. Communication before the trek was excellent and all the arrangements worked well and efficiently. A good and informative guide in Hira, he really added to the overall experience: a fabulous 5 day trek staying in lodges in small villages. Trekking is spectacular in places and never less than inspiring. Rhododendron forest, rivers and waterfalls, buffalo working in the terraced fields, grey langur monkeys in the trees, and then the breathtaking Machhapuchhre appearing through a gap in the vegetation.
The trek was hard at times, up and up stone steps, but then worth every tread as you gaze at the scenery and the mountains. Sunrise at Poon Hill, a clear dawn in Tadopani and arrival in Ghandruk with the Annapurna range in full view was as near to paradise as you can get!
A wholehearted recommendation of Himalaya Heart. Many thanks Thakur, Shital and all the team, we will certainly be back again.

We did the Everest Base Camp trek with Himalaya Heart, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! We had the honor of the first trek with them since COVID hit, and the disruption didn’t seem to have knocked them off their stride at all.
Our guide Hari picked us up personally at the airport, and he was a consummate pro. We couldn’t have asked for better in a guide: Hari was knowledgeable, courteous, spoke great English, and was always one step ahead (literally and figuratively) in anticipating what we would need and when we would need it. More than that, he was just a great all-around guy, and by the end of the trip we could honestly say we considered him not just a guide, but also a friend.
On the logistics side, Himalaya Heart was up front with all the info we needed, and they were very responsive to our questions via email and WhatsApp. The price they quoted never changed, and they were very clear about what was and was not included in our trek package. They even facilitated our COVID tests for our return travel so we didn’t have to worry about how we would get that done. Thakur and Shital were honest brokers who obviously cared about our experience, and they went out of their way to ensure we were completely satisfied.
I highly recommend Himalaya Heart for trekking in Nepal, particularly if you are looking to support a reasonably-priced, local company. These guys handle their business like pros, and I would use them again with no hesitation.
